I know diamond audio hex speakers are great speakers and I guess the d9's are a step or 2 above those so I bet they are awesome speakers. Where are you getting them from?, I tried to find a place that carried them a while back and gave up.

from what i have read they are awesome. the only diamond comp set i have heard and they were incredible therefore with them being a few steps up they have to sound incredible

They are nice. It does need a bit of EQ to smooth it out at least to me anyway. But they are well built and take a load of power.
