Never actually built a sealed box (first was a prefab, only box I've built was ported) so I'm wondering how big it should be. It's for a single 12" Type R. It's spec sheet recommends between .7 and 1 cu ft. Any input? Don't really want to end up with a huge box (which is why it's sealed) but don't know much about how big it should be...
and I DID search but everywhere I look the consensus seems to be "go ported!!1!"....which I don't want to do. My last box was ported. It was hella loud, but it also took up my entire trunk. My new trunk is pretty small (04 Hyundai Accent hatchback) so I just want to throw a small sealed box in there to have SOME bass. Doesn't need to flex anything, lol. Just needs to provide a little bump.
