View Full Version : aj vent designer (pics) help
so, I think i threw these specs in correctly, Now what is it telling me?
Box size????
Tuning?
Im looking to put 2 13.5 w6s in. Also ive read that the w6 likes a box x2 jl spec.also that shows a round port..so to change it to a square port?

what the hell is a aj vent box design
it tells you what box tuning and size would be best suited for a specific driver.
But thanks for you help.
what am I looking for in a graph is the basic Question.
What are the key things to look at?
Ive looked around and i dont see any refrences on reading a graph, most assume you know hoh if your using it, which makes sence.

Well, youre looking for a peak in a desirable frequency...or youre looking for the flattest frequency curve (sq)...
So, basically...that last graph is saying that enclosure will have the most output at around 29Hz (that's pretty darn low tuning, fyi) and then if you go below that, output drops off...and much higher, it drops off but then levels off
thanks. Yea i pretty much figured it out over the weekend
I was lost trying to see what specs to change to get diffrent graphs. But I think I got a noob handle on it.
Thanks.
I noticed that by changing these it altered the graph to diffrent tunning and size.
