Really I need someone to check this because I am not that good with winisd. Alright I have 1 B12 with 800 watts rms going to it. My box dimensions on the outside are 14.5 tall X 21 deep X 21 wide. This comes out to be 3.7 cuft. My port will be 13 tall X 2 X 28.5. Just wondering with those dimensions if that tuning is correct. This is my last box before I get another B12 and I wanted to get it right.

Any help, I mean any will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :D

That should be a fairly low tuning, my box is 29.5X14.5 X18(inside dimensions) and my port is 14X2x13.25 and that is around 32 hz or so,(had to modify and havent done the ca\lscs) Trixter helped me...so have him help you out

...or just post here and I'll find it :)

anywho...
with a box:
14.5 x 21 x 21 and using 3/4 wood that would give you...
13 x 19.5 x 19.5 = 2.86cu'
The port:
13 x 2 x 28.5 and using 3/4 wood that would give you...
14.5 x 3.5 x 28.5 = .84cu'
2.86 - .84 = 2.02cu' total (which is what WinISD recommends.)
using these dimensions, this will tune your box to 32-33Hz with a peak of 4.5dB at 38Hz. Sounds nice to me.

oh yah, what about sub displacement? If we make the box at 1.8cu' it will be tuned to 34-35Hz with a peak of 5.5dB at 40Hz.

What if I made it 14.5 x 21 x 22 or 23 just to add some cuft to it. It would be safe to say that I would be tuned 30ish with peak of 35ish? Now some people say that this means nothing because when you get it in the car all of this changes. But thanks alot seriously, I need to get these dimensions so I can get this on the road. Or is this what you recommend? Thanks again all.

Yes. If you went 23, you would get it tuned to 30ish with a peak at 35. Personally I would go as big as I could. I would also try and tune it around 25 or so to get a peak at about 30-32.
