Alpine iDA x-100 went BAD over night

It now doesnt pick up ANY USB connection what so ever.
and yes...it happened over night.
this blows
...and I doubt anyone can help me out cuz all I tried other usb cables/mp3s
but still no usb connection, it doesnt even bother searching.

if you updated itunes/ipod, that could cause problems, you may have to roll back your ipod

The same thing happened to me and my ipod touch (wouldnt recognize the ipod but would charge it. This happened after about a week and a half) so i returned the ipod and am now using my old 30gig video ipod that works fine

try resetting the ipod that happens with my computer sometimes it might be the same with the head unit

put the ipod on hold for 10 seconds take it off hold then hold the middle button and play/pause button untill screen turns black with the apple logo

headunit is perfectly fine i just needa get a new ipod...the only thing it can do is charge...itunes wont pick it up either so yea
