People Iam about to purchase CDT 6.5 c61. Do all think this is a good component system? would focal or eclipse be better?

They are a great component set. What specific models are you looking at from Eclipse and Focal?

although i havent installed my cdt's Nate nswartley(currently out of the country) has installed some and says there really nice. There worth the 149$ you pay. I plain on hooking mine up soon enough... once i get everything.

i've read a lot of good raves about it.

for the $149 I paid for my CDT CL61's from www.thezeb.com I think they are amazing. In my opinion one of the best bang for your buck deals in components at this time.

I have them and they are powered by a usx 2080 and it souds decent. I have actually had stupid people ask what kind of subs i have. I Told them 6.5:D

That's subjective...in the listener's opinion.
Some love the Type R's, while others hate them. Personally, I like the well rounded tweeter of the CDT's and the punchy and ever-so-accurate midbass of the Type R.

i'd say get some cdt audio or focal's, you can't go wrong with either components. i have the cdt classics and it sounds real nice

FYI from my conversation with CDT Direct.
CDT Classics CL61 vs CDT HD 62
Only difference between the 2 is their MID BASS driver..so you are really getting the HD Xovers and tweets...If you sell your Classic 6.5 driver and use the money to get the 6.5 HD drivers, you'll have a CDT HD set.
