p800prs flickering.. wtf

Alright folks I installed the p800prs this afternoon and the screen was flickering back and forth. If I let a cd play, dont touch anything, after about 30 seconds, the screen would change from normal to like a white display. I'll post up pictures explaining this shortly.

What could be causing this? I didn't hook up the illumination just to avoid these things.

here is the "flicker" which will last for about 10 seconds, turn off, then 30 seconds later, turn on again

when i first installed my 5900 it did that. i turn off the reverse mode and demo mode under my settings and it stopped

yup, it's reverse mode. and it's pretty gay.

Go to "initial setup" in the manual. You will find out how to solve your problem there.

My guess is for dealers to use it as an attention grabber to the average customer. But I agree!
