Edited on 09/12/08 - New pictures from 2nd delivery today added at the bottom.

So I came home today to find 2 boxes sitting in my living room. Special deliveries while I was at work. So... what do I find?

Brand new NAV bezel for my car from Mopar Supercenter! But, what to go with that new NAV bezel?

I have to admit, I felt like a kid at XMas time when I got this. This unit is much sexier in person. Can't wait to get this installed. Hopefully will have time next weekend to do it!

:rotflol: I wish? Nah, we just moved in to the new apartment and that is part of my g/f's idea of "contemporary decorating." You should see some of the other crap she has put up.

Nice looking setup. Nice to see guys who care just as much about how the install will look, not just how it sounds.

What's so special about HD radio anyways? Doesn't that just make the radio signals near CD quality or something? I think I'd rather have satellite if that's the case. At least that way I could listen to new music without commericials...

oh and btw, you convinced me to buy one of these...Way better than what the local shop was trying to get me to buy, and the same price!

I'm gonna use mine in my Honda Odyssey. Gonna put a 15" Monitor for the passengers too, do you know of a good one? The one they were gonna sell me was 700$.

I don't mind having a cheap TV in there, it'll only be used on long road trips anyways (who is gonna watch a movie for short in town trips).

Not sure on the monitor. In the shop I worked for back in the day all we sold were audiovox and Myron & Davis. Both were pretty nice, but we had to special order all Myron & Davis so we didnt sell very many.

As for the HU, glad I could help. You wont be disappointed.

I have been a XM subscriber since 2004 in many ways. Home, car, portable, direct connect, etc... Over the years the sound quality has been degraded to make room for more stations. While I still like it, I generally only listen to it while I am at work. I still have my portable unit in the car for when I want to listen.

Around here there are a lot of stations that broadcast HD and a lot that have 2nd stations. A big station here is 103.9 The X.. and they have a "X2" station for example. I was never interested in HD when it first came out but as XM has become more and more bland to me I decided why not? I was able to get the HD receiver for $99 (Normally $130 on most online sites) and I have a $50 mail-in rebate.
