Im just about done with making an inverted amprack for my 90 civic.

So now i need to carpet it.

Where do u guys buy your carpet from?

what kind of glue do u use?

Anybody have any good tips for making the corners/edges look seemless?

www.selectproducts.com

i use, and many others do ,spray on 3m all purpose adhesive. In my expiriences with select products carpet, it will for to shapes pretty well, u just need to work it... just make straight cuts, and use the spray can in the right direction (nothing like getting glue on ur nice carpet!)

3M's 77 adhesive spray. 55 is temporary, haven't use 99, but I guess it'll be really strong.
77 allows you to tear off with a bit of grunt in case you ever need to redo it.

Tacker, to secure the carpet while the adhesive dries.

Also good to use this to pull on the carpet. You can remove the large staples at a later time after the carpet sticks well on the wood.

OK, 3m-77. I'll try that site for carpet..

Thanks for the help, if it turns out ok i'll post some pics.

Its gonna be a nice rack. Its set up stealth-style behind the locking backseats and like a false wall on the trunk side so the only way to
the amps is to unlock the seats. You cant see them from the trunk, amps + wires invisible.
