I'm driving a '91 Jeep YJ, and I'm getting all the stuff in my sig installed on Tuesday. What should I do for security? Get an alarm installed, or should I go a different way. My mom suggested just tinting my windows (blackout) and putting a dog cage bar infront of my whole system at the back of my Jeep to kinda prevent them at getting to my subs, ect at the back of my Jeep.
Also, are the Alpine SEC-100S good alarms?

Well, I live out on a farm, so I'm not too worried about people hearing my system while I come home. ;) Should I bolt my sub box and speaker boxes right to the body of my Jeep, to provide extra security?

After my dads van got broken into several times, he asked the cop if he could put are dog(a pure bred Siberian Husky) in the van and the cop told us if our dog attacked one of the theives that my dad would be looking at a lawsuit and charges of assault and not to mention the paying of any possible hospital bills.

well the dog thing was a joke.....as for bolting it to the frame....yea...thats a good idea.....as well as have everything as stealth as u can....

Alright, I'll probably bolt it down and get the Alpine SEC-100S alarm for my Jeep. Then in a couple weeks, I'll get my windows tinted with limo blackout.

Dynamat, Brownbead, Secondskin just to name a few.
Basically its heavy rubber that when placed on your cars sheetmetal keeps it from resonating ie rattling
good idea for high wattage systems
keeps bass in and road noise out
