Hi I've recently purchased a Fi.Q 10" and was wondering if this enclosure is good for the Fi.Q in my subaru wrx? Is $340 a good price for this?

Are there any other solutions you guys recommend other than me building my own?

just build your own box. seriously, you will feel alot better spending 40$ than 339$ on a box that will sound like utter and complete ****. if someone makes a design for you, all you do is follow the dimensions and cut, glue, and mount. even if you **** it up some, it will still sound alot better than that 400 dollar pos box.

You could build the same thing for 34 dollars, seriously. 15 bucks for a gallon of resin, 2 dollars for some dowels, 5 bucks for cheap brushes, 5 bucks for some mat, 4 bucks for some carpet, 3 for some cheap spray glue. Seriously, box building isn't expensive: it's the time that's put into it that makes it cost money.

wow alright, I guess I can give building a try. How should I go about getting a design & instructions? Where would a good place be to purchase all the supplies?

someone here can usually make you a design for 5-10 bucks, or maybe free.
supplies can be found at home depot, lowes, any hardware store. make sure you buy 3/4'' mdf, if there is no mdf, i think birch wood can do the job, and be a bit lighter too. but youll need titebond wood glue, screws (drywall screws work good), silicone. if you want it fancy, buy some carpeting and spraypaint.

well i think some people have miss lead u... its not going to cost u 300 bucks to build that box but its not going to cost u 30 either ... id say u would be around 100-140 in materials... a gallon of resin alone is 40ish dollars.. but if its ur first time glassing its more then likely not going to come out like the one pictured... but u will have the satisfaction of saying u built it urself....

I don't know what resin you're buying, but Bondo resin costs 21.99 a gallon at my lowes and the elmers resin is 15.99/gal at lowes.
