where is the bass control engine on the pioneer head units? Not the bass boost, only need to know where the bass control is so i can adjust it without hurting my subs. Thanks

I don't think the 3900 has the Bass engine? I could be completely wrong though.

take a look at this manual on page 31................ where it says " adjusting subwoofer settings". It says something about +6 to -24. Is that it?

The subwoofer setting will adjust the output. That will adjust the output, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it won't hurt your subwoofers. Not so sure on how that actually works. That will adjust output though.

well, if thats not the bass engine then this **** thing has 2 different bass boost options which doesn't really make any sense. Im so confused.

I retract my statement, that is the 'bass engine'. You WILL use that to adjust it.

Yeah some pioneers have
loudness/bass boost/and sub level
the higher you go on either ,the more distortion you get
I had a Pioneer 5000 and 6000 both did the same

well no distortion on the sub level (the one that can go from +6 to -24)

so the one that goes from +6 to -24 is pioneers ****** bass engine? I hope so, because its been on 0 the whole time.
