I just hooked up the cd-ub100 to my 800PRS. The instructions were kind of unclear with regard to what functions work on different H/u's. Im wondering is there any way to get the text to scroll? Also, when I press disp. it doesnt change anything.
Thoughts?

Also, It wont display the song time or bit rate. Anyone figure this out?
I have ever-scroll on too but it wont work?!
Any Ideas here? I just might return this thing!

Make sure you've connected the ip-bus cable correctly.
The one with the blue end goes to your HU and the other one, black one, goes to ip-bus out on the ub100.

Yea i dont really like it either....I use it, but if you wanna scrool through your songs its sooooo slow, but overal it does the job.

It functions well (speed wise) except for the display issues, I wish it would just display actual folder names insted of F002 etc...

That's up to the HU. I had a 980 that did all that but my 800 will not.:confused:

Talked to Pioneer, they said that the text scrolling function, time/ bit rate display do not work with the 880/800. Oh well, I can just return it....

it worked on mine no probs i had the 880

it worked on mine no probs i had the 880
Must be a difference between the 880 and 800, Pioneer said all it can do is display the first 8 characters and nothing more.

It is a good reason, Im not happy with it.
