what do you have planned for the port? shouldn't the double baffle extend over the port? looks kind of silly

btw: I have not been on this forum very long, but its seems like if you are not getting alot of responses it is a good sign you are doing something right.(ie:Alot of people here live to point out mistakes/talk crap).

huge box, and since its tuned so low you can always put in dividers later to up frequency.

sweet... gotta love big sound in a small cab... i got a '99 ranger too and you're gonna be rolling around with the drivers window down 24/7... i estimate you'll gain at least 4dbs with the window down opposed to sealed up... i know mine did and even when it was cold i would have it down...

nice garage floor!

looks good so far, just some pointers though-
looks like your double baffle ist flush with the port? unless you plan to sand it down to round it over more than you could with a single layer of mdf. fyi, your better off bracing your baffle than doubling it up with no bracing. but double baffle plus bracing would be best. esp. with a big *** box like yours with 2 15's. brace it!

lookin good. Sure is a big box. Definitely liking the flush mount with the double baffle. Any plans on finishing it? Or are you going with the +5dbz naked MDF is louder finish? Either way should be good, gonna be one loud ranger for sure.

do you have a brace going from the baffle to the back of the box?

the back of the box is also a huge piece that will flex easily. I would recommend two wooden dowels going from front to back.

this is one of my old boxes:

it is no where near the size of yours and I was having mad flex problems before putting a brace from baffle to the back. Mine wasnt double baffled, but i would still recommend extra bracing. This was with about 1500rms going to this sub.

umm yea i have a 1-1/4 in goin from the front to the back....but im really not to worried bout the back flexin it will be up against the back wall of the truck tight so it wont move much at all!!! but i put 1 in there just to be safe!
