i got 2 brand new air ratchets for sale here. have not seen a lick of compressed air, or even had the air inlet fittings installed. in fact they've been sitting right next to this computer for the last 6 months or so in their original packaging. ive finally decided to sell them. BTW, prices are not set in stone, feel free to make an offer, but low ballers will be ignored.

first up is an Ingersoll Rand 107xpk 3/8" air ratchet kit. no need to try to hype up the IR name. its been set in stone ;). here is what it comes with (quoted from from amazon.com because im lazy)

-104XP 3/8" drive Ratchet -(7) 3/8" drive sockets-3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4" -3" socket extension -Pair of IR Mechanics Gloves- Large -Carrying Case

yea they are life-time but it pretty much only applies to hand tools.

thanks for the bumps guys.

Those are nice tools, and that's pretty cheap. Snap-on and Matco have always been loyal to me, too.

Bump for nice price.

So what makes these any better than the Chicago Pneumatic I bought for 9.99 at Harbor Frieght?

Paying for the quality. It's like buying Rota Wheels instead of Volk/Forged Wheels. Although I don't mind either, nor do I mind using HF tools (some of it).

So what makes these any better than the Chicago Pneumatic I bought for 9.99 at Harbor Frieght?

power, build quality......along the same lines as an Fi sub sitting beside a sony sub, you dont even have to touch one to see which one is of better quality

i think once i get all my bills caught back up i might buy the new mac Impact ratchet, now THATS sweet.....but i will not have any money for a LONG LONG time for new tools, so i have to make due with what i have

btw, i have had a complete set of harbor freight wrenches, metric and sae that i have used EVERYDAY for 3 years in a diesel shop, and i have not broke a single one.....the other guys lagh at me for having some cheap tools, but screw them

i bought ALL cheap tools when i started as a mechanic, and everytime i break a cheap tool, i replace it with a decent one. i still ahve quite a few pittsburg, williams, stanely, and kobalt tools in my box.

that reminds me.......i ordered my new toolbox from matco just about 5 months ago.......i wonder what the hell is going on....

why didn't you use it?

no compressor at home, so couldnt use them here. and i wasnt working in the shop yet, so they sat around in the boxes doing nothing.

then when i started working in the shop, i was too busy buying other tools. finally i got a hell of a deal on a bnib snap on ptr225a air ratchet, so i picked it up. and i have no need for these guys. the ptr225a doesnt have as much power as either of these two guys, but its smaller, so its easier to use for me on a daily basis.

the IR was a gift from the girlfriend (so its not like i go buying air ratchets just for fun lol), the bluepoint was one of my own choosing :)

keith h: sorry bro, no need for a HU right now. thanks for the interest though
