Well I am making a box for my truck like the one below. I was trying to figure out how big i should cut the slant wood? Ive never been to good at this so I was wondering if you could help. And if Im right the total volume would be 1.25 right? Thanks guys

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 so.......
it would be about 17.7
thats not exact ut i cant find my square root button

Hm so if its 17" high, the slant is 17.7? Ne one kno exact?

17.72...he had it right.....but you didn't give us a depth, so I cannot confirm the volume.

The TD is 3", BD is 7 inches. The height is 17" , what else do u need to know to know the volume?

whoops meant BD was 8"

If your using 3/4" material the total volume is 1.25 cuft.
