ok so im making my parents install a headunit in my first car because they got me a fvcking 99 ford tortoise (taurus). but hey only 33K miles on it, so for ford i have a solid 20k left = P
but anyway im looking for a solid HU around $85 to $100
never really done much research on HUs. heard good things about pioneer though
ill check out all suggestions, links are helpful

my buddy has 1 its alright... if i were u i would get 50 to 70 more bucks and get a nice deck

idk never seen this deck but it sounds good, there is more equalization settings then that other one so u will probley be more satisfied with sq

couldn't have said it better. just save up some more and get the HU you want, not settle for just something.

I just picked up a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB from Wal-mart for $100 bucks. Not the best unit out there, but it does everything I need it to.

u ought to be happy with that 99 taurus if u go that much money they could have made u buy your own car try having a 85 corolla u always crash the first one anyway
