Apline-x100 all works fine...
hooked up my ipod...shows its playing on the headunit but NO SOUND:confused:

the album work etc. shows up on the headunit-just no sound....

u should not make 2 theads

I had the exact same issue. Are you powering your speakers directly from the headunit or through an amp? I'm waiting for my amp, so I tested my install with the stock amp...and it wouldn't work.
I had the power antenna wire from the deck going to the power antenna wire on the GM harness and it didn't work, so I wired the remote lead from the deck to my factory harness's power antenna wire and it fixed it. That's why it works with the radio on, because the deck's power antenna wire sends out a signal when the source is the tuner, but not when you switch to USB mode.

"Do you have your speakers on an amp? Did you use the blue or the blue w/white wire for the amp remote? If you used the blue wire the problem is that your amp is turning off when you switch to iPod because the blue wire is the lead for the power antenna, not the amps."

Since you have that in quotes, where did you get that? I only remembered it from a previous install.

Not even relevant. User error. I bought it locally and it still happened to me.

just the install was messed up
but its now fixed :)
