sub up port back

Hey guys I got a 15 inch treo just sittin in my closet, because the box wont fit my trunk, will there be a major diff in sound quality if I build a box sub up port back?

From my experience, sub up ***** major *** in trunks. Subs forward or subs back seems to work the best.

i have sub up port to the side in my trunk and it gets down pretty hard
