6.5" and 6x9 that give decent bass.

I want to replace my factory speakers and put in ones that give a decent punch. Any recommendations? A new HU might be in order too...maybe Alpine 7893 because it has the built in amp.

JL XR650-CXi or the Focal 165 HC

if it was my decision, i would go with a decent pair of 6-1/2" over some 6X9, just for better SQ and overall different sounding bass.
