Are you talking about metal for an enclosure? I dont think that would work out too well with it resonating a lot. Ive used metal for bracing and structural work.

Heres a couple pics but Im not too sure what your looking for

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c241/MikeyB88/Misc007-4.jpg

I put the bracing in to strengthen the back of the car and the deck up again after cutting out a little metal and taking out some bracing for the cars chassis. The frame I welded in has a square piece of 3/4" stainless on the top deck, and one running across each wheel well, with angle iron going up the sides of the box so I can bolt the enclosure in.

Hope this helps

the reason he talks like that is because his space bar is probably messed up. I have seen someone do that on another forum lol.

Not sure if this is what your wanting...I had a shop build the frame, it worked out great, now I have a solid place to mount whatever I need:

With my amp rack I used both stainless and aluminum
brackets are aluminum and the logo is stainless.

Wish I could say that I did this but it is my car... Chad from Xtreme Audio and Design in AZ did this for me. He was a great guy too, hope he can do my doors soon. I wanted something to hold the trim piece to the baffle and also that looked cool. He had a sheet of aluminum and a router. He made a ring from mdf then used it for a template.

Here are the pics.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is that? I mean it looks to be a wall charger of some sort, but just wondering what it was exactly

The green steel box is mounted underneath a Ranger SQ vehicle.
A onboard charging system; park at the show, plug in the 50’ retractable cord and jam

there used to be a guy around my area who was making enclosures out of aluminum i think but it was some metal for sure. the box sounded great and it was solid no flexing or anything but what hurt him was that he was charging around a 1000 for a regular sized 2 12 box 4 to 5 cubes
