i used two 4'X2'X.750" and two 4'X2'X.500" sheets to make the box. i had left over wood after all the cutting was done. i glued the two .500" sheets together to make the 1.000" front baffle. everything worked out great. hell, i even routered the begining edge of the port inside the box to get that nice rounded edge. i also used t-nuts for mounting the sub so there will be no stripped out screw holes.

now did you read the title of this thread?
i have no clue. i built the box to jl specs and it is what it is. now i started this thread to find out what port tuning is. since i built the box the way they wanted i assume it's tuned to 32hz.

yeah then yours is 32hz if you made the cuts correctly. your box should allow you to hit the lows.

i'll get them up once the carpet comes. it may be for sale to go with the 12w7's i have for sale, or maybe i'll have to install it in my car. here's a link to my stuff: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263105
i also made some mounting rings for 12w7 fiberglass enclosures.
