This is my 3rd box build and I am improving each time. I did not screw up anything this time, the first time I messed up a whole side and it did not line up right but it still sounded good and I used it for a few months. Second time I drilled some extra holes in the top and bottom of the box and the back did not line up. (plus it didn't fit in my car lol)

No I think its just that a few we had to leave right next to the blade before we could turn it off for a couple seconds so it just burned the sides
That piece right there has the worse burn mark out of all of them

How long do I need to wait for the glue to dry. The last two times I let it sit over night but I am itching to finish this. I dont want to jack it up though

Seriously? lol I will try it out tomorrow morning
Just going to silicone it up screw the top on, make sure the biotch fits then make the cut out
Im thinking I need bigger screws for the sub though, its 25 pounds and those screws I used on the box are kind of small.

What is your box tuned to? and what are the dimensions to your port pieces???
darkhunter139
06-29-2008, 11:35 AM
Its tuned to like 32.5
I wanted to tune it to 33 but then I would have had to make a weird cut so I figured I would just do it this way. I wont be able to tell a differnce.
The port width 3 port lenth 2 8
I used this

The only thing I see wrong is that you're way too close to the corners with the screws. Good job if it fits though.

you should put 45's in the corners

Ahh so its not good to get that close? They didnt split so its all good.
What are 45s and what is the purpose of that?
