yeah i cant decide if i wanna go ported or sealed, i heard good things about both options..also would it be worth the money to get the H.O box? also, is the H.O box really the best box for this sub or could i make a better one?

make one. mine was in a HO box (got it on a trade) there is nothing special about it other than the thickness of the MDF is thicker.

Try to brush up on your reading and/or web browsing a bit...

From www.jlaudio.com:

1. In the middle, "Mobile Audio"
2. At the top, "Products"
3. On the left hand side under Subwoofers, "W7"
4. On the left hand side under W7, "12W7"
5. In the middle between 12W7 Driver Specifications and 12W7 Driver Physical Specifications, "Click Here for Recommended Enclosure Specifications"

Not that hard. Save yourself (and us) some hassle in the future by actually putting some effort into finding what you are looking for.
