My 2nd box build. This time it's sealed, came out fantastic imo! Slowly mastering the carpeting
The middle two pieces was for extra bracing since these 10's are heavy as ****. I did take the space taken by those to account.
SSA reccomends .85cu ft per 10.
Box is 1.8 cu ft after sub displacement, with 1.25lb of polyfill (may take out, just gonna test it first, read that it should go lower)
Just gotta finish my amp rack now!
Here's the first box I made. Not bad, but I'm looking to actually have a trunk this time around so I went with sealed. I'll actually have all the wires hidden (hopefully) this install, sinec it's summer!

can you fit the right size box in? It's better to have the right size box then to use polyfill. But nice box though, i wish mine are that nice

12:40 here, i'm south of the OP :)
If you already have it to spec, then there's no reason for the polyfill. But to each their own :)

Just trying it out :D
I'm not expecting that big of a diff anyway
Going off of this

In simple terms, it works like this: The fiberfill fools the woofer into thinking that it's in a larger box (one with more air, or internal volume, in it). than it really is. And, in general, the larger the box, the lower the bass you can get out of it.
I like lows :).
Looks like it's only giving an extra .2cu ft or so

I honestly am not too sure about the last part of that. It seems way too generalized.

Something sounds a bit off on the sub on the left. It sounds like tinsel slapping, the right sub works fine though. I took the sub out to look at it but everything looks fine
:help: :(
Theres a few wires still seen, not too sure how to hide them without cutting into the wall liner. I'm thinking maybe just pick up some wire loom? Ideas?

Sealed I can do, ported, yes, however, I don't know how to tune one :( .. so unless you provided me with the design
Do you need it soon? I'm in the middle of packing things up, moving to the south bay in a few weeks

Love it :)
Very clean power, have never gotten a clipped signal from it. Looks amazing, and very versatile when you need to run it at whatever ohm you need to run it at.
It's stable down to .5ohm i believe, though warranty only covers down to 1ohm.
Customer service is great, too, though I've never needed to get anything warrantied, Jacob is very active in all the forums and I always see him answer questions promptly.
The great thing about SD is that you get to talk to the owner directly. Not to mention the warranty is two years!

not till the end of summer or so. all i would need is a sealed box basically since I want to use aero ports.
