Yamaha HT Receiver
Vintage Sherwood Int Tube Amp (sounds beautiful) 7569 tubes
Jolida 801 Int Tube Amp (Owned By Clyde The Glide Drexler) w / Tungsol 6550 Tubes
Acoustech Monoblocks 60 wpc w / Gold Lion KT88 Tubes
Rotel 1070 Preamp
Parasound HCA 2200II Amp (Upgraded Caps)
Rotel RCD-02 CDP
Acurus ACD-11 CDP
Monachy 18B DAC (Upgraded Dual DAC Chips & Cards)
Sansui TU-717 Tuner
Music Hall MMF 5.1 Turntable with Goldring 1021x Cartidge
Jolida JD-9 Phono Preamp
Infinity Primus 360's Main Front Towers
Infinity Primus 160's Rear Sorrounds
Infinity Primus 25 Center Channel
B&W 601's
Polk Audio SDA-2B's
Advent ASW-12 Sub
Polk Audio PSW 1000 Sub

This may be out of your range but you never know. Do your homework on these components and let me know. This is the low end of some extra equipment I have that I rarely use. I also have some high end stuff that.....well it will cost BIG bucks but well worth the money IMO.

that is some serious cash spending
imma guess the tube amp be around 400

UH...no. try X3 for the Jolida, X3 for the Acoustech & almost 1/2 that for the Sherwood.

well i figured cause it was a tube amp, was just talking about the sherwood.

how about those tweeters? :)

06-30-2008, 10:38 PM
Gotcha. The Sherwood was used for a computer rig I had in the garage along with the B&W 601's and the Advent sub....neighbors complained too much...so I upped to the Parasound and Rotel preamp with the Polk Audio SDA's......I couldn't hear them complain at very moderate levels....LOL

Charles, I notice you are local to me over in Dallas, I'm in Fort Worth. I've got a home audio sub that I doubt you could beat for the price. Plus, we wouldn't have to pay for shipping since we are right by eachother :)

It's an Elemental Designs 13OV2 run off an LT550 plate amp in a ported enclosure. Here are some pictures. I'd fully expect you to demo the sub before buying so if you want to do that let me know and we can get together. I'm only selling it because I'm building a new one with an IDMAX ;)
