im am thinking about getting a 2 door explorer and want to wall 4 18s but do you guys think i will have enough airspace if i keep it behind the seats? Fi BL's BTW

i would like to get 6 cubes each but im not sure if its possible

6 * 4 = 24cuft. ( That's before port/sub/wood thickness/bracing ( alot of that ).

Just do this... and you'll have your answer

Measure the EXACT DIMENSIONS:

( That's from I'm guessing )
1) ~4" back from the front seats to the VERY back of the cargo area.
2) The height ( Remember, you do have to be able to put these pieces in )
* You're gonna build the wall in the vehicle anyway *
3) The width ( There are wheel wells - go square around them )

I'm not seeing 6cuft each though

Do you mean behind the back seats? If so the answer is no. Behind the front seats, its possible.

The 4dr explorer is a tad bit longer... Not much though.

if i do 4 18s im gonna have to fold down the back seats. so should i do a wall or subs up port back

2dr or 4dr you'll have trouble even fitting 2 18s behind the rear seat. 24ft is a huge box. You might as well wall it behind the front seats.

Search " whole explorer for sale " thread... He put 6 12s in a wall behind his back seats... Ask him..
