the box material doesnt sound like anything......
the subs determine how it sounds.......

But a correctly built and designed box will help. If not it can make your subs sound like ****. My one friend had two 12 inch audiobahns, not sure which line but they were the 400 rms ones. He had them in a prefab sealed box. Took it into wood shop and just cut holes into the box for ports. Thought it would sound good. I laughed my *** off when it sounds like 2 4x11's in his trunk. So either way, don't be a ******* when building your box.

well were talking about material..........a box w/ an air leak will sound like crap....

i was just making sure he knew, cuz u said the subs make it sound good and i wanted to sepcify a good design and build is crucial

But when coming to wood I would say it does matter. I would def. take MDF over almost anything else.
