just sent the money for the open box special today. :)

kinda wondering who has one and what seems to be the ideal box. they have this on thier site -
Ported 1.75 cubes - 2.5 cubes, 25 - 40 Inches of Port, 28-35 Hz
Average: 2.00 cubes, 30 inches, 28-35 Hz

would the average be the better or just an inbetween.

i will be underpowering it with ~400wrms from the sub channel on a kx550.3.

it fits. i have 16 high x 29 wide x 25.5" deep max in the truck...

Go bigger, especially if its underpowered. I have 0 experience with these but I would go with something between 2-2.5 @ ~32hz to start.

Try 2.5 @ 32 w/30 sq in and see how that works

holy huge. im not trying to go too big. i just got rid of my 15" q in 3.8 @ 30hz.

i may just have someone design me one since im not really seeing anything in the thread that will fit. i mean , if someone has some spare time and wants to hook it up with the free-ness , im not complaining. :p:

Shoot me a pm, Im designing a box very similar in size and tuning that Ill be making this week for an install this weekend. It wouldnt be a problem for me to alter a few dimensions around a send a link over to you.

Ill have something together tommorow night or the next at the latest.

Preference.

It'll be easier to get more output with that tuning and less power. Also, the larger box will make up for the lowend as well.
