i currently have 2 powerbass xxxl's and two kicker cvr 15's. and 2 700 watt alpine amps..ive been looking for a better amp just havnt found the right one yet

Then why don't you get two more kickers, or two more pbs if you want to run 4 subs, or even just run one pair or the other.

Using 2 different types of subs is a big no no

i plan on it;)... im going to run the pbs for a little while longer and the cvr and go ahead and sell everything to get some cvx's

haha ive never personally delt with dd's, how do you like them?

DD's are some of the best subs out there for the money...I've ran a lot of top brands...including Kicker...JL...Pioneer....Atomic....Selenium...ED.. ..RE's...and others...the only thing I found that comes remotely close to DD's are Funky Pups...and they are no longer made :( I have 4 years of multiple first place wins using DD's and one of the few people to play music at over 150 dbs using only 4 DD 8's

Its fun going to a show and your hitting louder and lower than most people running 15's and all you have is little 8's... :D a friend of mine was running 4 DD 8's in his Dakota RT and it was doing rght at 150dbs....I've heard it out play 2 ported L7 15's in anothers gys truck....
