i have a set of polk momo's in my doors and the tweet mounted right above the mid and they cant keep up with the bass i am giving them 135rms per side

so i was wondering what set of 6.5's or 5.25's would be best to mount in the kicks that can handle some power and get loud in the vocal range since i need to keep up with the bass.

not woried about pods not being sealed since i will have my polks in the doors deaden and sealed

well i was wondering what set would work best in kicks i can get 6.5's in the kicks i am looking at and the 6.5's are cheaper and can handle more power so should be louder

but idk if the polks are gonna cut it or not in stock location now they arent keeping up with 1500rms on 2 12's l7's ported
i have the polks on 135rms not sure if they can handle more or not i am thinking of trying out 150rms per side to see how they do

hey did u get those strobes and switch and fuse

do you want to hear them clearly? because when my 18" is wangin i can hear all the words, but my eyes and head are vibrating so bad i dont really care about the mids and highs. I usually just turn it down a bit and actually listen to the music.

my RSD's keep up though, running active on my SAX100.4

btw, my comp's are in the kicks, so that might help some that they are on-axis

yea i would like to be able to hear the words of the song cleary and loudly and match the bass like be able to hear the vocals but feel the bass and hear it also

So you already have some 6.5's in the doors ? I would go with 5 1/4's or smaller in the kicks. Less airspace needed for them :)

well i aint worried bout airpsace i dont need them for midbass i got mids in the doors for that job i need a set of comps in the kicks for loud vocals to keep up with 1500rms ported on 2 12's l7's because one set of polk momos on 135rms per side isnt working

so i was thinking these on 150-175rms per side in the kicks

get the kicks and put some PA speakers in there w/ a pair of super tweeters and you'll be fine
