not hard to build.. takes a littl more skill than a sealed box..

it's really simple once you build a couple but the first time i wouldn't recommend buying mdf just practice with some particle board or something ive only built 3 boxes and 2 of them were sealed and i just built a 11.25 cube ported box tuned to 38 hz the ports are 9 in wide 19 in deep and 18 in high there are two of them... but yeah once you get the basic idea down its pretty easy if you have the tools/

mgaidica, i live in grosse pointe as well. wondering what u would charge for an install and box (probably sealed) for a 2003 escape, 12" kicker sl7 4ohm (wired down to 2ohm), pioneer deh-7400mp, jbl 600.1 amp. write me back. thanks

what grosse pointe? (woods, shores?) well ide need wiring too, which either u or me could get.. a box would be like $55 carpeted, installation of everything would be about $40, plus any and all wiring, and for a ported box is u wanted one it would be like $30 for subsonic filters.. So say u drop off all of it, wires and all I could cut a deal for like $80, box and all installation.. install depends on car and all that but ide say your best bet is to have a free day and drop it off at about 8 in the morning and ill call you when its done.. install could take anywhere from 3-8 hours.. let me know man.. (once i get an OK i can start the box)
