Measurements sealed box for Punc HX2 12" Rockford

Should I use the measurements from the Rockford manual.
Some people say that the HX2 perform better when build in a ported box.
My music is House and I need a punchy short bass.
Please advise

I listen to house, trance, techno and personally I think they all sound good from a ported box. If you go by factory specs., I think it's tuned a little high. I have my HE2's tuned to 26Hz. If you have WinISD I can send you the T/S parameters for you sub, just let me know which HX2 model it is. If you don't have WinISD give me the model and I can figure out something from there for you.
