2007 Ford Focus build

Here it is. in all of its glory :)

EQUIPMENT:

Avic-D2
Infinity refrence 6.5 componets
15" Tc9 woofer 3.0cuft sealed
kicker ZX350.2 for componets
Kicker ZX750.1 for subwoofer.

Got a good bit installed today. headunit and all the wiring done. Mounted the amps. Will work on installing the componets/deadning doors tomorrow hopefully. Im currently waiting on my 15" Tc9 woofer to come in from woofercooker(Great guy to work with btw. He has changed the basket for me about 5 times now cause i couldnt make up my mind). install has gone extremely well for some odd reason. no busted knuckles or broke clips ftw. Only snag i ran into was my rcas are about a foot or so to short. So im just goin to buy some extenders.

Did you just screw the amps into the back of your seats? How sturdy is it?

They ****. Not much better than the ones on the center console at the back.

Very strudy the back the the seat is metal with some carpet over it.

might want to invest in some way to insulate the power wire where it runs through the seat bolt mount.

Think it will be a problem? Its dosent get stepped on nor does it move cause its zip tied in place. I guess i can get some rubber to put around it.

I'd put something on it at least. Even though it is tied into place, you never know what can happen in a vehicle. I make it a habit to protect the wire anytime it is run through metal.

Woot another Focus owner. I have a 2006 ST and CRX has the 07 ST I believe.

Now I know what it would look like if I ever ran a AVIC.

Looks good and have fun sound deadening it. I have to do my doors as well, but have majority of the car done, besides that.

And man that D2 fits like a GLOVE, looks great.

Yea it turned out really well. It rained most of yesterday so i was unable to do any more of the install.Im really thinking hard about fiberglassing a set of kick panels.
