I am putting them in my back deck as straight subs in IB.
I have searched but could not find any concrete posts regarding experience with them.
Super precise bass isn't really a big concern for me, I just want bass w/o a box...
Anyone have any ideas? They are going for DIRT CHEAP on Ebay right now...

They are marketed as IB midbasses... not sure they're going to play low enough to give you alot of good sub-bass...
I've been thinking of picking up a pair to try as midbasses in my doors, to replace my Oz 200Hs.

They won't play very low and actually should have a high pass filter on them to keep from mechanically damaging them by overexcursion. The X-max on them is really small. There are much better actual subs out there for your application, but they might cost a little bit more.

I think I will spend the coin on some Tang Bands or Daytons, can't say no to 12mm Xmax

TB makes nice ****.
I just put a pair of these in my doors, I can't really comment on them yet since the rest of the front stage is not installed yet, but I'm excited to get it finnished and see how they sound.

I'm going super slow on this project... too many other things tying up my money.
