You prefer the red or green bondo? I'm asking because I don't fibreglass anything and only use bondo to seal endgrain gaps in home speaker enclosures. The red **** just isn't fine enough.

The green I use is USC Duraglass, similiar to kitty hair. I like it because it is an actual fiberglass filler and it bonds alot better than bondo. I have used bondo in the past and have had it crack and flake over time.

Added the finished pics at the top.

did you fiberglass it before you painted it, or did you bondo the whole thing before it was painted? or is that just multiple coats on wood?

looks very good by the way

glassed, sanded, catalized primer, hand blocked, painted (2 coats), and cleared. I have about 10 hours total in the whole box . I am a bit short on time as I need to have the truck back together by today.

No pics of the inside, but it is a comp box so I made it very rigid also made sure the inside is very smooth to help with the air flow. Also added dual threaded rods to the double baffle to keep the flex to a minimun if any.

It looks big, It is 228 cu. in. on 15.8 cubes after displacement. My Truck seems to like huge rear firing ports. My 2- 15 box was 173 cu. in. on 10.5 cubes and sounded great all the way down to around 30 hz. The goal here is a daily driver that will touch 150's on music. I will do a pure SPL box with about 30% less port see what I can do Peak wise a little later on.

Back wall with be doubled once the amp rack is installed, and the sides are such a snug fit to the fender wells I couldn't really brace them without giving up area or losing the slick finish inside the box I was striving for.

Turns out this box is a monster on the low notes, 150.7@34hz. Sounds incredible with everything I have played on it. I tried Usaci Street beat for the 1st time on Sunday and was able to post up a 153.5 . I am going to add some power in the future to see how far I can push this setup.

Anyway, where's the painted pics?

Yo that box is "simply sweet". I mean the box it's so sleek and brawny. Awh... Bro those colors you mixed is hott heck! That paint made the box stand more. I am thinking I need a box like that for my 94 caprice. I am going to run either 3 or 4 DD3515C's. I already have 2 and next week a good dude named matt is selling me his DD3515 so if another DD like the ones I already have I will definatelty buy it. So bro would you be willing to make another box like the one you made for your suv 4 my ? $$$ pm me if you are interested.
