I never took pics of the final product but it looks pretty similar to the last mounted pic. I want to paint the box black but we will see if that ever happens. Its being run by a herc at roughly 2 ohms for daily and the amp in those pics is just my speaker amp. It is easily the loudest setup I have ever had and cant wait to get my new alt and drop the herc to .5 :D Let me know what you guys think!

Its between 8 and 8.5 cubes tuned to the high 30's ( I tried for 37 but there were some imperfections in the box so I dont know what it ended up being)

Ill take some more pics tomorrow so you can see the whole box and port

the best thing for the solo xlike that is a wall. but i would like to know what kind of numbers you get. I know that my solo x 18 is seeing 5k off of 2 herc

Yeah its more of a just for fun kinda thing but hopefully ill get it metered really soon. I also plan to give it more power but for the time being the herc will do

Its amazing and gets lower than I expected it to which is very nice:D I am enjoying i immensely it gives me exactly what I wanted: the ability to play it during an everyday drive at moderate volume levels and still get loud but also have the ability to turn it up and have people go oh ****

I would love to get into the high 140's but obviously not until I get more power for now I would be happy with mid to low 140s because its only getting 1000 watts or so(d1 coils that read 1.4 and 1.3 each)

is the amp 1 ohm stable? if so wire the coils into parallel for a .7 ohm load and you will be happy

yeah i am going to when my new alt comes in but even when I had my xxx at 1 ohm I was getting retarded voltage drop so I cant imagine what it would do at .7

yes the top is 3 different pieces it had to be at least 2 and it ended up being 3 because of measuring issues lol

Definitely since its running at 2.7 ohms and the amp might be making 1000 watts at that impedance

I'm disappointed, your XXX install was awesome, plus you went from an SQ woofer to an all out SPL woofer, you had to lose so much SQ. But if you are happy that is all that matters.

Yea, if loud is your goal you accomplished it, lol. I am definitely an SQ guy though so I kinda like seeing other people with SQ subs too, lol. For how hard it is to build a box inside of the car you did a pretty good job, and it is an awesome looking sub.
