Well im looking to get a nice comp set for under 100bucks, I have 100watts to work with but i have no idea on what to get. So far this is what has caught my eyes.

I mostly listen to HipHop/Rap once in a while Rock.
Anyone use any of these sets? How did you like them? any other sets in my range i should look into?Any help on this would be great since i have never ran a component setup before.

id just buy my 2way fosgate powers...just search my user name. just an idea, save some money and still get ****** speakers.

Had the MB Quart DSE's I belive they are the discus line. Way to harsh for me and my ears and no mid bass what so ever, but I did't have my doors deadened.

I have the Rsd's going in later this week.

i have a set of RF-60 soundstream 180 rms come with everyting 150-160 shipped 3 inch coils 185rms great comps the sound is amazing

Had the MB Quart DSE's I belive they are the discus line. Way to harsh for me and my ears and no mid bass what so ever, but I did't have my doors deadened.

I have the Rsd's going in later this week.

Let me know how you like them.

You can buy them off the interweb store for a few bucks more and get a warranty.

The PG's have been getting a good reptuation. I am curious to hear those Diamon Audio's, though. You should order a pair of each, see what sounds better. Then, just put the one you think sounds better in the front stage of your car.

I got some OZ Audio 6.5" components!!! They have the best SQ record!!! And are a very bad *** component set!!

I've got a set of those being delivered today. $118, shipped. If the CA&E review is even close to accurate I think these will be the next forum woody...
