View Full Version : ~$200 65w rms component set
I'm looking for the best component set I can get for around 65w rms. I'm assuming the tweeters that it will come with will also be 65w rms or lower? I heard good things about Phoenix RSDs or Focal. I can go abit over to around 250 but dont really want to go any higher. Thanks

Are they powerful enough? I heard these are the best bang for the buck speakers, so how would these compare to a 200 dollar set?

i was just looking at the very same ones...seriously i am going to buy them for sure..i havent really heard anything bad about them..and u can save the extra money u were going to spend and just get a good amp to run them if thats what you want to do
I have a decent amp that I think will be able to push them fine, how important is an amp? Its a 4 channel 65wrms kenwood

i got a set of rf60s for 110 shipped no tweets i lost them
I have this amp

So should I look for a new one since the rsd's are 65 watts rms and the amp is only 60w rms? Will I be fine or do I *really* need a new amp?

are you going to be running just one set of rsd's cause according to the kenwoods specs if you bridge the amp to run to the pair the speakers will be seeing 180 watts which i think is a little more then what the RSD's are supposed to max out at

they are very good, and get as much power to them as you can.

ive seen people give them up to 160w
and that amp you can probably get 150w or so bridged so it should be perfect

ok then.
what about the tweets? I would give 60w rms per channel so wouldn't it be prefect, technically underpowered by 5 watts?

are you planning to run them active? if not the passive crossover figures out what power goes where.

center piece on in the subaru is one piece so you would have to make a custome molded center to have aftermarket parts.

Okay, so I'm hoping 60w rms is enough to each chan. Let me know so I can order them
