seen it with MDF...never with birch..
anyone done this with birch? will it work? pics will help, and any tips/pointers. thanks!!:D
I've heard that it's a bit easier because the birch bends more then mdf, it wont just crack

Tcab did/does it iirc. same concept as the mdf, make relief cuts and bend then fill the gaps with some woodglue and sawdust.
or stick it in your pool :rolleyes:

its better/easier to do kerf cuts with any type of ply :fyi:

on 3/4" birch ply, how high do i set the blade, and where/how far apart do i cut?

That all depends on how much of an angle you want it to have.

meh... i do every half inch on mine
cut down to the very last layer (around 1/8th of an inch)

yes but the specs i just gave is the angle i use 99% of the time

MDF is the worst wood to do kerf cuts on. BB will be much easier...
