My 96' Jimmy Build!!@

Ok, I am building a new system... Not too big but it is enough for me.

I am doing an 18" Q powered by a MTX TA 7801. The box for the Q will be ported and about 6.5^3.. Tuned to 32. I am doing some PG RSD 6,5 CS powered by a Hifonics Zeus 4406... I am making a amp rack for the amps.

BTW This is my first build... Here is the amp rack I just got finished with... I still have to carpet everything obviously.

I have never carpeted anything before so this will be a fun new thing to try :) we will see how it goes..

Here is the amp rack. The hifonics will go on top of it but I do not have it yet!

Progress for today: I painted the ports.. and actually drilled the ports down.. and cut out 2 baffles.. waiting tell the glue and paint drys to drill them down. Also will show you guys the car it is going into!~!!@!@

I was thinking about cutting out some letters or a word out of the extra wood I have and carpeting it but I am not too sure what I should put on the front ... I was thinking of putting Fi but then I thought it was kind of boring but I dont know!!

Any ideas?

It's only about 6.5 after displacement? FI recommends 6-10? I thought it was going to be too small.

Black.. The ports are red (Matching the car) ..

The seats are sort of black/red so I thought it would look good going black carpet with red ports..

and + the MTX amp.. should make for some decent visuals.

Not too much progress.. will be carpeting monday b/c I am going to be having a really busy weekend... but I put the Box in the jimmy.. I need ideas to what I could do with my amp(s)..

I am going to have a MTX TA 7801 and a Hifonics zxi 4406 that I need to find places for.. I have hardly any room.. There is only 3 in from the box to the hatch so.. I have a couple inches on the right and no room at all on the left.. I want this to look nice so I am trying to think of a way to do it without just screwing the amps to the box.. but I will if I have too...

You shouldn't need an amp...Your sub puts out 1400rms!!!:)

^^ Just the color I chose.. There are red lines on the seats so it will match + the outside of car is redd.... Two ports just b/c that is how the plan was.. one for each side :/

It shouldn't damage the carpet at all.Might be a little matted down but that can be fixed.The scew hole should just disappear.
What kinda material you using?Regular grey carpet..

It is finally done!!! Everything is hooked up and I am definetely impressed with the results.. Very tight and good sounding bass that still gets very loud..
