I am wanting a new in-dash DVD/Navigation. Not real sure which one to get. Had heard a few months back that the new models would be coming out soon and to wait. They might already be out by now. I need one that has the works.... I'm talking about DVD, Navigation, full Ipod hook up, Bluetooth, SAT radio, compatible with steering wheel controls and Bose sound system, and anything else you can think of. What would be the best one for me?

well almost every new dvd/nav system will give you all those options

the bose thing depends on the vechile. Most you can do and some you have to run new wires.

That being said. Do you want DVD based nav or harddrive? A DVD based means you have to put a dvd/nav disk in to get the navi directions to work. A harddrive based is always on but they usually cost a bit more.

Personally I like Pioneer nav, everyone will say something differant but I like Pioneer nav.
Ive used Eclipse/Pioneer/JVC/Panasonic for nav and found Pionner to be the best and Eclipse to be the worst. Agian this is in my area so your area may be better with a differant brand

Eclipse had the best sound though. The Pioneer sounds good but not as good as the Eclipse.
All of the brands mentiond have had Ipod and XM/sirus atleast. I dont like to talk while I drive so I havent used blue tooth in any circumstance.

Im looking forward to the new Pioneer navs. They will be priced at about $1200~retial and will have flash based nav

I am wanting one with a hard drive based nav for sure.... I am actually in between the Kenwood Excelon DNX8120 and the Alpine IVA-W505 with optional Blackbird Nav. I have had Pioneers in the past and was impressed, just looking at something new..... Do you have any idea when the new Pioneers will be out?
