Newb from NC here. Heard about this site over at DIY Mobile Audio and also a member here (uncfanforlife07) recommended it. Hope to learn lots! And maybe expand my collection. Keep up the good work.

I am finding myself moving more towards the quality of sound versus how much boom I can make. Right now I have acquired a 12" Alpine Type-R, a Pioneer 7300M amp, Kenwood VZ-907 touch screen, JVC AR-770 with the USB port (cd's dont skip when you use the jump drive), an RE SX 18", and the legendary Orion 2250SX. Unfortunately, the Orion is leaving my collection tomorrow, trying to make room for more things. Looking to pick up a Pioneer AVIC-D1 head unit and the W3004SPL that uncfanforlife07 is selling. I have a Honda CRX that housed all Alpine speakers (two 5 1/4s up front and two 5x7s in back) and two Type-Rs in the hatch. The 2250SX was in there and it is the first car I have ever seen the dashboard flex in the middle. Those things would put a hurting on anyone within about 20ft of the car. I traded them for the RE 18", but it is too big for what I want to do. It may hit the For Sale section one of these days. Currently I have MB Quart Q130s for the doors with a set of Klipsch tweeters and a set of Infinity 4x6 6422cfp for the back hatch area. Looking to use that W3004SPL to round it off for a more theater like environment versus the permanent brain trauma I would have experienced from that other setup.
