I'm not sure what my new 5.4 F150 FX4 will get...I'm hoping 13-14mpg It has the factory 17's on it now...my plans are updating to 18's and using the 18" all terrains that came on my Wrangler....so hopefully it won't change much .....I have a new S331 Saleen exhaust ordered for it...so maybe by next week it will be installed...and I'm hoping it will help some...on gas milage

My Chevy 4x4 truck with a BB gets about 9-16 mpg. I use it mostly for hauling or snow/storm driving. Daily driver = 2006 Infiniti G35 6 speed. About 26 on freeway, about 18 in town. Wife's Altima can get up to 30 on fwy. 88 M6 gets 16-18 mpg, sometimes less if I wind it out. I would like to get an all electric car and at least for daily driving get off the oil completely.

Wish I had the 6MT sedan :( Is yours the coupe or sedan?

My 77 Lincoln Mark VII gets like 4-7 MPG (future project?)

My 01 Subaru RS gets 25-30 MPG (daily)

My 02 chevy K1500 gets like 16-19 MPG (work beater truck)

97 f150 4.2l on 23s gets 18-21mpg

i checked the first tank in my 07 4.2 on factory 17's...and got 15mpg driving it slow and easy ...50/50 driving.....one of the reasons i decided i didn't like it....it only had 16,000 miles and i had put on a brand new air filter the day after buying it...maybe because mine was an auto....i only ran 1 tank of gas through it since i bought it...it needed its 2nd when i got rid of it

really? that's weird because bone stock the truck should get 17-18mpg, have heard of people getting 20s out of their stock f150. Normally though after a few mods 18-21mpg is easy. I have e-fans, exhaust, intake, and stock 3.55s and I get that mileage. For better gas mileage you could put an UDP, tune, and a few other things. The auto shouldnt hurt you either. On your new truck you may only lose 1mpg if that with those tires but if you want I would put efans on it because it will def free up about 2-4mpg then a tune and intake to go with that exhaust and you should be set.

No.. I just like to drive like that. Only from 1st to 2nd though. If I do that in 3rd I'd be doing about 80mph.

It's always fun to **** with ricers at stop lights, too. I'm chipped and tuned with 2 step at 3000rpm. I'll lauch on them after they sit there and rev at me until the light turns green.

Mileage: 133,600
Dealer Cost: 6.2k
Paid: 1.4k$
Average high 20's low 30s on freeway. high teens low 20s in the city.

Pros: can get up quick if i want it to. No mechanical/appearance Problems.
Cons: No large aftermarket selection. It's an alero ffs. High mileage. Something is always wrong with it. Power windows mess up. SES light is always on for no reason. sometimes you have to start it then start it again.

no. I wish. I wanted a Dub for a loooooong time.

My dad and his girl got a B4 Passat back in the day and thats what started the addiction. I was so fascinated by them. I was also like 11.

Then I turned my attention to the mark 3 because a family friend had got a Jazz Blue DE GTi and it was gorgeous in my eyes. That was about the time I also stumbled upon VW Vortex haha.

Then a friend of mine got a 16valve mark 2 and took me on a ride through the mountains and to a couple of Dubber meets.

1997 Ford Taurus GL.

I barely can only manage about 220-280 miles a tank. Which is like 16-20mpg. :(

My catalytic converter broke apart about 2 months ago(inside bits were breaking off, clogging the exhaust and then shooting out the back when they got knocked loose). So Im guessing my car is running too rich?

No time and not enough money to fix it.
