corner braces

i plan on adding corner braces to my ported box
how will this affect the box sound wise?
would it re-tune the box?

the box is 18'' x 18" x 48"

how effective are the corner braces? would i notice a significant change? im assuming this will hlep air flow, but does it help a lot? noticeable?

i have heard from many sources it stops standing waves thus increasing movement of air and sound if done correctly can gain some dbs buy doing it u never know but i am sure someone with some better knowledge of it will post something to help u out later

I doubt it's significant, but probably couldn't hurt. You'd really need a meter to test/verify the differences. I put them in most boxes I build, but wouldn't really consider adding them to one that's done.

Not getting enough output? Have you tried the box facing up?
