Raised logo on a box

Can some one tell me what they use to make logo's under carpet? I have heard of foam, cardboard and such, just wondering what experiance you guys have and if any picks available.

i have always used 1/4" mdf, like this.........

i use my scale ruler, to upsize the image/logo.
