I have a pioneer DEH-6700MP and it's blown. I just bought an 400 watt Jensen amp. is that enough for it to start playing music again?

Somebody told me if i put an amp on the hu it would play. It comes on and everything.

If your internal amp is whats blown and your RCAs are still good then, yes. If anything else is wrong, then no.
