Hey guys ..

Im curious as to what tools yall use for MDF board construction boxes ,

Table saw, Dremel, jigsaw

Circular saw, rotozip, drill.


Good to have- Table saw, Jig Saw, router (not sure how to sue them..), various electric sanders, clamps.

my guess would be a mixture of alcohol, neighbords daughter sun bathing and a finger or two ..

my guess would be either a *poor mans* drill ..

cut off wheel for small things, sanding attachments ..

drill, brad nailer (and small compressor), a few clamps, woodglue, table saw (if possible), skill saw(circular saw), saw horses, a router and lots of various bits and jigs (circle jig, spiral upcut bit, flush trim bit, roundover bit...etc),belt sander....


thats all i can think of at the moment, ill add to the list later

Thats about all i use, good list. Oh i also use corner clamps(i think thats what their called).

circular saw , drill , jigsaw , glue and clamps (plenty of them). i use big *** pots i have in the back yard as saw horses. me = teh cheapness.

k i get the idea of what everything else was used for,

but what is the router generally used for ?

router to cut the speaker holes usually. i use a bunch of clamps, titebond 2, brad nailer, air compressor, router, jasper jig (makes cutting holes 1,000,000x easier), 90 degree angle clamps and usually a couple beers..

Router is used to cut the holes (like mentioned) and also for rounding over port edges, box edges, flush trimming, etc. You can do many many things with a router.
