Just bought an 04 nissan sentra that I want to juice up a little bit. Was thinking about putting a turbo in there, but its not a spec-v just a 1.8 liter(lol) also wondering if it would be pointless with that engine in there. I know absolutely NOTHING about engines and engine mods. I dont even know what turbos are out there, how much they are, etc. If someone could link me to a nice starter turbo that wont kill me or something similar to a turbo that would give my little sentra a nice little boost.
Any help appreciated. lol.

When people start modding their cars (performance wise), they start with the headers, intake, and exhaust.

It'd be a waste of money if you plan on going turbo to start with those as they will no longer be needed come turbo time.......
Alot of Nissan turbo heads here (http://www.sr20forum.com/forum-index.php). Although they will probably just tell you to swap in a SR20 DET. To be honest it will probably be cheaper and more reliable than buying a aftermarket kit for that puny 1.8.
$950 (http://www.tigerjapanese.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=98&category_id=8&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26) for a Engine,turbo, and intercooler is a very good deal.

SR20 swap, or leave it the fvck alone.
