CDT tweeters in my experience are garbage. Peaky, and roll off sooner than they should, not to mention the vocals sounded like they were being sung through a tin can. I haven't really heard much good about CDT Tweeters. Their mids are decent, but I would go with the Polks in this case.

i like the polks too. but if your getting L7's doesn't matter. all your looking at is something loud which i think both get up there

I will tell you from first hand experience, that the polks are some very sweet speakers. Very detailed and smooth. A very natural sound. Yes they do get very loud! I am happy with mine.

Clipping and distortion, most likely. Lots of stupid people getting the Momo's and cranking the gains on their flea-market grade "2x150w rms" amps and turning the volume up past the point of distortion on their HU's.
Heck, you could probably get a decent 4x75-100w rms amp and run the Momo's active and they'd perform better than if you were running them passively on a 2x150w rms amp.

well i am planning on running them on a kicker 650.4 passive so i will prob give each one about 100rms per side so i dont have the gains cranked up
and then for the back i will get momos for rear fill i like rear fill and carry alot of people with me

If you like/want/need rear fill, check into the new Pioneer D series or get a pair of the old yellow coned REVs instead of the Momo's for that duty. They would give roughly the same effect as an orchestra making passionate love to your eardrums, imo.

I had to switch out those exact CDT x-overs with some rainbow ones. because the CDT x-overs would cut my tweets out if they got to much power. i couldnt feed but 80 rms to each side
